How does Speed Dating Work?
Charmed
& Personal Speed Dating is a guaranteed way for singles to meet and "date" 10-15 other singles in one night.
Register for an event that suits you and join a group of local singles
at a popular restaurant for ten or more dates of 7 to 10 minutes each.
When you arrive you will be greeted
by the host who will present you with your "match" card and your one free (non-alcoholic) drink card.
Your
host will then check you off the list and explain how the number system works.
The
women will each be assigned a table number and the men will be given a number to stick on their shirt.
While you wait for dating to start, you are
free to mingle, order a drink from the bar and relax.
Once everyone arrives, there will be
a short "getting to know each other" game. A door prize will be awarded to the winner!
Then
the dating will begin: The women will be directed to their designated tables. The men will join their first date of
the evening at the table that corresponds with the number on their shirt.
You will then
have 7-10 minutes with each person (at a table for two) ~ Just enough time to see if any sparks fly!
Participants should check "yes" or "no" on your "match" card after each date to let
us know who you would like to see again.
The host will ring
a bell when each date is over and it's time to move on. The men will have 15 seconds to get to the next
table.
There will be a short break at the half way mark. Complimentary appetizers will be available and drinks can be refilled
at the bar. Dating will resume promptly in 15 minutes.
In order to have a match, both parties must tick yes. You will then receive an email within 24 hours confirming
your matches. Only first names, phone numbers (optional) and emails will be exchanged.
At the end of the night, hand in your "match" card so we can match up the names of those who checked
"yes" to see each other again.

information for your matches within the next 24hrs.
